Human-Centred Communication
At SpaceDraft, we build tools that connect the best of our humanity with the promise of our digital future. Our story didn’t start in 2017 when Lucy Cooke was designing time and space visualization tools for big-budget Hollywood movies. It didn’t start when she was studying psychology, communication, and the behavioral science of how we think, learn, share, and connect.
It didn’t even start when she was a girl on the farm, watching her dad draw maps in the red dirt with a stick, showing drovers and jackaroos where to muster sheep.
SpaceDraft’s story is older than any of us, it’s the original human story of connecting and understanding through pictures. Before our earliest ancestors could tell, they could show. Directions scratched in the dirt. Hands and hunts painted on cave walls. Glimpses of the world carved into stone.

Somewhere in the flood of text, we’ve lost our way. Text is cheap, easy, and perfect for machines. But we’re not machines. Our creative, adaptable brains work fastest and best in pictures.
